The all-knowing God KNEW what He was getting into. And YET, He stepped into the darkness to illuminate the way. He sent Jesus to be the LIGHT, the beacon, the way of hope, the ONLY way! We do not need to pay our way towards this love. He IS love! He alone makes the way! Our only job is to say YES to what He did for us. He gave His life so we might live!
The Word is alive! It has the power to breathe life – life to my lukewarm faith, life to my struggling doubts, life to places I thought were once long dead. The Word carries power! I can walk into a room and carry His living Truth with me. It’s not a dead word I read, it’s the living Word I breathe.
